Eligibility Criteria for admission to 2 Year MCA in University of Calcutta:

WBJECA-2026 Rank.
Pass B.Sc. (Hons). in Computer Science from any UGC recognized University / Institute
OR
B.Sc. (Major) in Computer Application from University of Calcutta only.
At least 60% marks in 10th and (10+2)th standard examination.
At least 60% marks in Mathematics in 10th and (10+2)th standard examination.

It is notified for the candidates recommended for admission to MCA course in C.U. after 1st round by the WBJECA Board are requested to report with a copy of all self-attested documents along with all originals for verification and admission as per WBJECA recommendation.

Schedule of Admission: WILL BE NOTIFIED AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF SCHEDULE OF COUNCILING OF WBJELET BOARD

Candidate must bring the following documents in original along with self-attested photocopies for verification and admission:

Original allotment letter from W.B.J.E.C.A. Board, if any.
Original Money Receipt of amount deposited in W.B.J.E.C.A. Board and Bank Challan, if any.
Original School leaving Certificate from the Principal / Head of the School / College last attended.
Original Medical Certificate of fitness from a registered Medical Practitioner which should state Height, measurement of chest, condition of eye-sight and hearing, bodily infirmities etc.

All original mark-sheets of standard 10th onwards or its equivalent examinations passed.
Original Birth Certificate.
Original Rank Card as generated by the W.B. JELET Board.
VALID Original Certificates from appropriate authorities for SC / ST / OBC / PWD / TFW / EWS candidates.
(OBC with current NCL from the appropriate authority)
Domicile Certificate (Format of Domicile Certificate available on admission portal).
Duly filled-in Anti-Ragging declaration (Format of anti-ragging declaration available on admission portal).
Two (2) copies of recent colour passport size photo.
Original Aadhaar Card.
Copy of APAAR Id / ABC Id.
