Admission to Postgraduate Programmes 2026

The University of Delhi announces the registration for its various TwoYear Postgraduate Programmes for the Academic Session 2026-27.
From the academic session 2026-27, the University will offer two types of PG programmes, as mandated by NEP: One-Year Masters and TwoYear Masters Degree Programmes.
Students studying in Third year and/or Fourth year of their graduation are eligible to pursue a two-year Master’s Degree Programme at the University of Delhi. The candidate must satisfy all eligibility criteria for the Programme(s) for which s(he) is applying. S(he) must have also appeared in CUET(PG) - 2026 in the relevant test paper/s, fulfilling the programme specific eligibility published in the BoI(PG) - 2026.
The allocations will be done only through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal solely on the scores obtained in CUET (PG)- 2026 as per the eligibility published in the PG Bulletin of Information 2026-27.

This year, the University is facilitating all candidates with an additional feature of auto-integrating the credentials of the candidates, such as Name, Date of Birth, Category, Gender, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, and CUET score/s through the Digilocker/API Setu platform. The University of Delhi acknowledges the effort made by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for integrating the students' information on the national registry and extending it to universities securely. This eases the hassle of managing duplicate data, strengthens data security, and offers a uniform authentication mechanism for Government services. It acts as a secure, scalable, and citizen-focused digital identity solution that supports the Digital India vision by making Government-to-Citizen (G2C) services more accessible.
Before applying, candidates must refer to the PG Bulletin of Information and Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS (PG) 2026- 27) for Minimum Eligibility, Program-Specific Eligibility, and allocation rules.
It is hereby informed that the University will soon be inviting applications for One-Year PG programmes, based on the NEP structure. A separate portal will be announced for this purpose.
For admissions to One-Year PG Programmes, Delhi University students who are either pursuing a Four-year Bachelor’s Honours Degree with Research/ Entrepreneurship or those qualifying with a Four-year Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in the concerned subject, besides fulfilling other conditions, will be eligible to apply.
