PhD Mathematics Interview 2026 Phase II Schedule & Guidelines

The Interview for Phase-II Ph.D. admissions in the Department of Mathematics, University of Delhi is scheduled from April 08, 2026 in the Research Scholar Room, Department of Mathematics, University of Delhi, Delhi. Details of shortlisted candidates for interview are mentioned in the uploaded "Mathematics Ph.D. admissions (2025-26) Interview schedule" file. As a part of interview, every candidate is required to make a PPT/board presentation of at most 8 minutes in an advanced area of Mathematics of her/his research interest. In case of PPT presentation, candidates is required to bring her/his presentation in a pen drive.



There are candidates with same name so every candidate is requested to check serial number as per her/his form number in the uploaded interview schedule list.

Candidates are required to appear for the interview as per their scheduled date and time along with the following documents:

  1. Print of application form (downloaded from University of Delhi Ph.D. admission portal).
  2. Certificate of NET/JRF/GATE/INSPIRE/Any other National fellowship qualifying certificate or related document based on which Ph.D. admission form is filled.
  3. Certificate of NET score, if applicable.
  4. Caste certificate, if applicable.
  5. Print of duly filled "Research Areas Option Form".

Please note that the candidature of applicants who do not fulfil eligibility conditions for PhD admissions as per University of Delhi rules may be cancelled at any stage of the admission process.
