List of Provisionally Selected Candidates for Admission to BA.LLB (Honours) at CJS (2026-2027)

This is information of all provisionally selected candidates that, the admission into the B.A. LL.B (Honours) Programme for the session 2026-27 is scheduled on 28/07/2026 (for Merit List) , 30/07/2026 (for waiting list), if necessary and for ( 04 ) four seats under Endowment category at Centre for Juridical Studies, Dibrugarh University.

The merit list for admission is prepared without verifying the hardcopies of all relevant documents, and discrepancy, if detected at the time of verification for admission or afterwards regarding percentage / relevant documents for eligibility in to admission as per Rules and Regulations shall entail the cancellation of admission immediately.

• Hard copy of Online generated APPLICATION FORM
• Admit Card of the Entrance Test, CAT 2026.
• Class 10^th Admit Card, Marks Sheet and Pass Certificate
• Class 12^th Marks Sheet and Pass Certificate
• Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
• Latest duly notarized Affidavit in case of Gap Year.
• Transfer Certificate (if Applicable)
• Migration Certificate (if Applicable).
• Caste Certificate. (if Applicable)
• OBC/MOBC Candidate must produce Non-Creamy layer valid Certificate from the concerned Circle Officer if Parents/guardians of candidates are agriculturalists. Other Candidates belonging to the category shall produce the latest Non- Creamy layer certificate from the competent District Authority as per Rules for reservation.
• Latest E W S Certificate from the competent Authority for the candidates belonging to the category
• Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)/ Local Man Certificate.
• Personal email id of the candidates with contact no having Whatts App
• Contact no of Parents/ Guardian with Email Id
• Affidavit regarding NO RAGGING

Timing of Admission – From 10.30 a.m. onwards and shall be closed by 4.00 pm on 28^th July 2026 and candidates shall have to respond immediately for admission after calling their name(S) in order. If not responded on call, the seat shall stand forfeited and next student shall be admitted. Therefore they are advised to be present at the Centre for Juridical Studies, Dibrugarh University by 10.30 am positively and visit regularly University Website for any information.

Candidates intending to apply for Endowment Category , shall submit application in the prescribed format as notified vide notification no DU/DR-A/4-1/Admission/2026/5101, Dated 20/07/2026 for admission under Endowment

Category on 28/07/2027 in the prescribed form as enclosed with the notification already uploaded in the Dibrugarh University website and seats shall be filled up on merit basis on 30^th July 2026 after completion of the admission from the waiting List.

The candidates included in the waiting list(category wise) shall appear before the Admission Committee at 11 a.m. sharp for admission against vacant seats on 30/07/2026, if available. However the Final Waiting list will be published on 28/07/2026 after completion of admission from the first Merit List in the University Website on the said scheduled date subject to availability of vacant seats only to be filled up from the waiting list.

Mode for Fee Payment : The Candidates are informed that they shall deposit fees after receiving the duly signed admission slips form the Chairperson , Centre for Juridical Studies, on the day of admission and the mode of fee payment shall be (on-line) and cash less.

Admission Fee of First Semester is Rs 17,698/- (Rupees Seventeen thousand six hundred ninety eight) only and selected Candidate under Endowment Category shall require to pay (Rupees Thirty Five Thousand) only as one time fee in addition to Admission Fee at the time of admission and there shall be no relaxation.

It be note that the intake at Centre for Juridical Studies is (60) sixty as per approval of the BCI excluding maximum (06) seats from EWS category.
