Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) Programme 2026-27

Online applications are invited from eligible intending candidates for admission into the Two Years Bachelor in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) Programme of Dibrugarh University for the academic session 2026-2027

Eligibility: (As per NCTE Norms and standards)

a) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter- College / Inter- Zonal / District /School Competitions in Sports and Games recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.

b) Bachelor’s Degree with Physical Education with 45% marks.

c) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and Studies Physical Education as compulsory /elective subject.

d) Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks and having at least participation in National /Inter University / State Competitions or secured 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd position in inter college / Inter Zonal / District /School Competitions in Sports and Games recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.

e) Bachelor’s Degree and participation in International competition or secured 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd position in National / Inter- University Competitions in Sports and Games as respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India.

f) Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (deputed in-service candidate i.e. trained physical education teachers/ coaches).

Relaxation in the percents of marks in the qualifying examination and in the reservation of the seats for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Govt. /State Govt./ University whichever is applicable.

a) Online Application process will begin from	:	25^th May 2026
b) Last date for receiving the online filled in application form	:	11^th July 2026
c) Date of Entrance Test	:	16^th & 17^th July 2026

d) Declaration of result of Entrance Test	:	Will be notified later
e) Date of Admission	:	25^th July 2026
f) Commencement of class	:	1^st August 2026 or as per University notification
