Notification regarding the Class Cancellation for "Yuva Connect" Programme on the Occasion of National Sports Day 2026

This is for information of all concerned that, all the regular classes of 1^st Semester Under Graduate Programmes, Post Graduate Programmes and Diploma Programmes of Teaching Departments, Centre for Studies and Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET), Dibrugarh University are hereby declared suspended on 27^th August (Thursday), 2026 from 10:30 a.m to 01:00 p.m. in order to facilitate the students to take part in the "Yuva Connect" Programme on the Occasion of National Sports Day 2026 at the Rangghar, Dibrugarh University.

Moreover, all the Heads/ Chairpersons/ Directors are requested to send one faculty member of their Departments/ Centre for Studies / Institutes as escort teacher.

The Union Cabinet Minister for Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in the Government of India Shri Sarbananda Sonowal and a Former Indian Footballer Bhaichung Bhutia will grace the occasion.
