Notification regarding correction of programme selection for FYIPGP (7th Semester) Lateral Entry and 2-Year Postgraduate Admissions (2026–2027)

With reference to the notification issued vide memo No. DU/DR-A/Admission Schedule-7^th Sem. FYIPGP & 2-Yr. PG/2026/645 dated 16.07.2026, regarding Admission into the Fourth-Year (7^th Semester) of Five-Year Integrated Post Graduate Programme (FYIPGP) and / or 2-Year Post Graduate Programme for the academic session 2026-2027. It has come to our notice that, owing to certain misunderstandings regarding programme eligibility and selection, some CBCS (Non-NEP) students have inadvertently applied for admission to the FYIPGP Lateral Entry (7^th Semester) programmes, while some FYUG (NEP-2020) students who have passed the 6^th Semester examination have applied for traditional M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. (Non-NEP) programmes.

All concerned Departments/Centres are requested to kindly identify such cases during the Document Scrutiny phase based on the candidates' uploaded UG mark sheets and rectify them using the "Change Programme" option available in the https://dibru.samarth.ac.in portal.

The programme change should be made only for the corresponding programme of the same subject (e.g., FYIPGP in Physics -> M. Sc. In Physics or M.A. in Assamese -> FYIPGP in Assamese).

Please follow the steps given below for changing the programme of a candidate:

1. After login to https://dibru.samarth.ac.in, navigate to Admission → 2026–2027 and select "Submitted Applications" from the left-side menu.
2. A list of all submitted applications will be displayed. Scroll to the extreme right and, under the "Action" column corresponding to the concerned candidate, click on the "Change Programme" option.
3. The "Change Programme" window will appear. Carefully select the appropriate programme corresponding to the same subject only (i.e., FYIPGP or M.A./M.Sc./M.Com., as applicable). Please provide an appropriate remark and click on "Update Programme" to save the changes.
