Please find herewith a list of Distribution of Hostel Seats at MDCN, PNGBCN for the students who would be transferred from LDCN, GPDCN, MBCN, MDCN respectively as per the list enclosed of this University.

Further, the undersigned would like to inform you that the Hostel Admission Committee, D.U. in its meeting held on 24/06/2026 resolved that the following criteria be adopted for the hostel admission for students enrolled in Semester in different Departments/Centres/Institute of Dibrugarh University.

• 1. Selection of students for hostel admission are purely on merit basis and as per statutory reservation norms.
• 2. Students from other states (above criteria will not be applicable in this category).
• 3. In case of any contradiction or issues arisen from the above cited criteria, the DMC /BoM may adopt final decision.

As such you are requested to allot the provided hostel seats to the eligible students and notify and submit the said list to the office of the undersigned.

Note: It is worth mentioning that the prescribed format of ‘Undertaking on Ragging free Hostel’, ‘Prohibition on the use of Motor Vehicle’ and ‘Prohibition of Smoking, Alcohol & Narcotic Consumption’ as instructed in the D.U. website should be submitted at the time of admission in to the hostel.
