This is to inform all concerned that, pursuant to a Corrigendum from the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) bearing the reference No. F.NCTE-Acad/1/2022- Academic Section-HQ dated 25.07.2025, significant revisions have been made to the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) Curriculum Framework. The total credits for the 2^nd Major courses have been increased from the existing 48 credits to 64 credits.

The 16 credits previously allocated to Minor courses within the existing ITEP curriculum have been reallocated. These credits will now contribute towards the 2^nd Major courses, thereby facilitating the increase to a total of 64 credits in the revised framework.

The respective Boards of Studies of each Department are hereby directed to undertake the necessary revisions to the ITEP curriculum structure for the 2^nd Major courses. These revisions must be carried out in accordance with the framework presented in Annexure - A of the Committee's deliberations which shall be effective from 2026-2027 session onwards.

All the concerned Teaching Departments, Centre for Studies of Dibrugarh University, affiliated colleges and relevant stakeholders are requested to take note of these changes and act accordingly.
