Notification and syllabi for introduction of One Year Certificate Programme in Kathak Dance and Bihu as a Performing Arts w.e.f. 2026-2027

As recommended by the meeting of the Board of Studies (BoS) in Performing Arts and 134^th meeting of the Under Graduate Board, Dibrugarh University held on 22.06.2026, the Academic Council, Dibrugarh University in its 137^th meeting held on 29.06.2026 vide Resolution No. 09 has approved the syllabus of following One year Certificate Programmes for introducing in the Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Centre for Studies in Performing Arts with effect from 2026-2027 academic session:

(i) One year certificate programme on Kathak Dance.
(ii) One year certificate programme on Bihu as a Performing Arts.
