Lateral Entry Admission 2026-27 Re-Opening Notice

Notification regarding the re-opening of Lateral Entry Admission for the academic session 2026-2027

This is in compliance with the Notification vide No:E-682791/7 dated 03.09.2026, regarding the re-opening of Lateral Entry Admissions for the Academic Session 2026-2027 issued by the Director of Higher Education, Assam from 5th September to 10th September, 2026.

The registration and programme selection by applicants will remain open until 9th September 2026, while the scrutiny of applications and the admission process will close on 10th September 2026.

Further as per our notification vide ref no. DU/DR-A/Changing-(Major)/ 2026/804 dated 13/8/2026, students who have already applied for Interchanging Major/Minor discipline in 3rd Semester in the Academic Branch of Dibrugarh University must apply afresh through SAMARTH Portal for programme selection. The Notification issued by the Director of Higher Education, Assam is attached herewith.
