Notification for M. Pharm. Counselling for the session 2026-27

In continuation of the Admission Notice No. DU/DR-A/Admission-M.Pharm./2026/590, Dated 03/07/2026; the Counselling cum Admission process for M.Pharm. programme for the Academic Session 2026-2027 shall be held on 10/08/2026 (Monday). All the candidates who submitted their applications ONLINE through Dibrugarh University Web Portal are invited to appear physically in the Counselling cum Admission Session at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University. All the candidates are directed to bring the following documents in original (along with a set of self-attested photocopy) for verification at the time of Counselling/ Admission:

1. Print copy of application submitted online
2. Original and Self-attested copies of Admit cards, Mark/Grade Sheets and Pass Certificates (HSLC, HS and B Pharm)
3. Valid GPAT/CUET-PG (Pharmacy) Admit Card and Score Card
4. Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC), if applicable
5. Caste Certificate (if applicable) from competent authority
6. Gap Certificate in the form of Court Affidavit/Medical Certificate (if applicable)
7. Valid EWS certificate (if applicable)
8. Two recent Passport Size Photograph

• Candidates having documents of passing B.Pharm. Programme only are eligible to appear the Counselling.
• Date of Counselling: 10/08/2026 (Monday)
• Reporting time by the candidates: 09:30 am to 10:30 am
• Counselling of the candidates: 10:45 a.m. onwards
• Date of Admission Notice for selected candidates: By 11/08/2026

• Last date of Admission: 12/08/2026
• Commencement of Classes: 17/08/2026
• The admission fees have to be paid on the day of admission
• The selected applicants shall have to take admission by paying the necessary admission fee through online mode only (internet banking/debit card/ credit card etc.)
• Candidates selected for hostel seat must take hostel admission on the specified date.
• Statutory Reservation Policy shall be followed as per the rules of the University.
• There is no relaxation of fees for EWS candidates.
• Dibrugarh University Statutory Reservation shall be applicable as per Regulation of the Govt. of Assam
• Reservation of seats for GPAT qualified candidates graduated from Dibrugarh University is 80%
• If any vacancy remains under GPAT category, the same will be filled by CUET-PG (Pharmacy) qualified candidates
• If any vacancy remains after filling up by GPAT/CUET-PG (Pharmacy) qualified applicants, the same will be filled by Non-GPAT/Non-CUET-PG (DU Graduates: 80% seats; Non-DU Graduates: 20% seats)
• All the candidates under Non-GPAT/ Non-CUET-PG category have to appear in M Pharm Entrance Examination 2026 before counselling process to be conducted by Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University
• M Pharm Entrance Examination 2026 for the candidates under Non-GPAT/Non-CUET-PG category has been scheduled on 10/08/2026 (Monday) at 11:00 a.m. onwards.
