2nd Admission Notice for MSW 2026

2nd Admission Notice for Master of Social Work (MSW) Programme 2026-2027

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the Master of Social Work (MSW) Programme for the Academic Session 2026-2027 against the following vacant seats after completion of the first round of admission:

Eligibility for Admission:
  • (a)
    A Bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern, OR, Successfully completed 6th Semester of FYUG/integrated PG Programme under NEP 2020, from a recognized University securing a minimum of 45% marks in Major or in aggregate (40% for candidates from the Schedule Tribes, Schedule Castes and Other Backward Classes);
  • (b)
    Candidates whose results for the qualifying examination are not yet declared may also apply.
  • (c)
    Preference may be given to candidates from the North-Eastern States.
Application Procedure:
  1. Application for MSW Programme shall be through online mode only. No other means of application shall be accepted.
  2. Online Registration for submission of Application Form will begin from 23.07.2026. The last date for submission of application is 28.07.2026 (till 11.55 p.m.)
  3. For submission of the Online Application Form, intending candidates are advised to follow the following instructions:
    1. For Online Application, please login to Admission Portal on https://dibru.ac.in or https://erp.dibru.work/
    2. The Candidate needs to register on the portal by clicking the “Register” button and providing his/her name, mobile number and a password. The mobile number will be verified through an OTP. Please remember the password for login.
    3. After successful registration, the candidate needs to login using his/her mobile number and the password.
    4. After login, the candidate needs to click on the “Apply” button corresponding to the link of “MSW” which will lead to an application form. The candidate needs to fill up the application form step by step.
    5. After completion of the filling-up the Form Candidate needs to click the button “Submit and Review”. A preview of the filled-up form will be displayed. Candidates are advised to carefully cross-check the information and if anything needs to be corrected at this stage, they can go back and edit
    6. After ensuring that all the information displayed on the Preview is correct, the candidate needs to click ‘Pay now & Submit the application” and the pay the application fee of Rs 950/- only through online mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking).
    7. The application form will be considered finally submitted only when the application fee is successfully paid by the candidate and an online receipt is generated confirming the payment.
    8. There will be a button to download your Application Form for future reference.
    9. Admit Cards will be generated only after the last date for submission of application forms and a few days prior to the date of the Test. Once generated, candidates will be able to download their Admit Cards from the same portal by logging in with their credentials.
    10. The Candidate shall have to tuke a print out of the Admit Curd and bring the same to the Examination Hall on the Date of the Testfor veriJication.
    11. The Submission of Online Application Forms shall be automatically closed after the last date.
  4. There shall be no altemative procedure for Application for applymg to the MSW Programme and the University shall not receive the Application except the procedwe mentioned at (2) above.


Important Note- The University shall not verify the eligibility of candidates at the time of receiving the Application Forms or issuing Admit Cards. Candidates not fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria shall not be debarred from appearing in the Entrance Test. However, their candidature shall not be considered at the time of admission into the MSW programme.

Therefore, intending candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for admission into the Programme.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates for admission will be made through a 7S-minute Written Test (60 marks) followed by Group Discussion (20 marks) and Personal Interview (20 marks). bnly those carrdidates securing a minimum of 45% marks in the Written Test will be called foi Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The Written Test will assess the candidate's knowledge and sensitivity towards contemporary social issues, general knowledge, reasoning ability, and analytical ability in English.

Note:

  • The question paper will contain 60 objective type Multiple Choice euestions (MCQ) carrying 1 (one) mark each.
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • The question paper will be set in English language only.

To qualify for admission, candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks separately in the Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Admission will be made sirictly on merit basis considering the total marks obtained in the Written Test, GD and PI.

Admission Procedure:

  • Admission of selected candidates shall be conducted as per subsequent notifications issued by the Centre/University. The requisite Admission Fee and Course Fee must be paid within the stipulated date(s).
  • Detailed instructions regarding admission will be notified by the Centre/University in due course of time.
  • Selection for admission shall be purely provisional and subject to verification of original documents by the concerned authorities.
  • At the time of admission, candidates must produce and submit the following documents:
    • Pass Certificates and Marksheets from HSLC onwards
    • Character Certificate from the institution last attended
    • Medical Certificates
    • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer (if employed)
    • Caste Certificate
  • Candidates are advised to regalarly visit the official University website for noffications ond updates.
