First Round of Counselling Cum Admission
For 3^rd Semester B. Tech. (Lateral Entry) Programme
Academic Session: 2026-2027

This is to notify that all M.Tech. candidates who have registered their applications through the Dibrugarh University online web portal and also those who wish to apply through "On Spot" registration process are hereby invited to the 1^st round of counselling cum admission process into the 1^st semester M.Tech. Programme offered by DUIET, D.U. for the session 2026-27 through entrance test/valid GATE score to be conducted on 24^th July, 2026.

The admission shall be strictly on merit basis and subject to production of all the relevant documents in original including final semester grade-sheet/mark-sheet without which no responsibility will lie on the authorities regarding conformation of Admission.

The break-up of seats and specialization offered are mentioned below:

• Candidates have to bring a photocopy of the acknowledgement receipt.
• The Entrance test shall be of objective type of B.Tech. standard of the respective branch of Engg.
• Candidates who have qualified GATE are not required to appear in the Entrance Examination. They have to report directly for original document verification.

• Results of the Entrance Test will be declared on the same day. Selected candidates will have to undergo original document verification and have to take admission on the same day to confirm their seats.
• EWS reservation shall be provided as per Govt. norms.

• a) Admission Fee: Rs. 10,745.00
• b) First Semester Course Fee: Rs. 16,185.00

• HSLC (Class X): Admit Card.
• HS (10+2) Admit Card & Mark-Sheet.
• B.Tech. /B.E. certificate and Mark-Sheet.
• Valid Caste Certificate, if any, from competent authority.
• Valid EWS certificate (if applicable)
• Gap Certificate in the form of Court Affidavit for applicants who have passed B.Tech. /B.E. prior to 2025.
• Two nos. of recent passport size photographs.
