2nd Counselling-cum-Admission to the 1st Semester of M.Tech. Programme in Petroleum Technology 2026

The following candidates are provisionally selected for the 2nd Counselling-cum-Admission to the 1st Semester of the M.Tech. in Petroleum Technology (Petroleum Exploration & Production) programme for the academic session 2026–27. All selected candidates are required to appear before the Admission Committee in the Department on 6th August, 2026 (Thursday) between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Failure to report within the stipulated time will result in forfeiture of the seat and the vacant seats will be filled up by the candidates from the waiting list on the same day (i.e., 6th August, 2026) from 12:00 PM onwards.

The Endowment Seats (02 nos.) will be filled from among the wait-listed candidates strictly on merit, irrespective of discipline or university (within or outside Assam). Interested candidates must submit an application on plain paper, mentioning their application number, for consideration under the Endowment category. The application must be submitted to the Office of the Department of Petroleum Technology, Dibrugarh University, by 1:00 PM on 6th August 2026.The list of selected candidates under the Endowment category will be displayed on the Departmental Notice Board at 1:30 PM on 6th August, 2026. The selected candidates must report before the Admission Committee at 2:30 PM on the same day and will have to take admission on the same day.
