Rescheduled Date and Time for Walk-in Interview for a Senior Research Fellow and a Technical Assistant under ISRO GBP Environmental Observatory Project

(Date of interview – 8 September, 2026, at 11:00 AM)

A Walk-in interview is scheduled for the temporary positions of Senior Research Fellow and Technical Assistant under two ISRO-GBP Environmental Observatory Projects at the Center for Atmospheric Studies, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh. The initial duration of the posts will be 1 year and may be extended based on performance.

Senior Research Fellow	1 (one)	(i) ISRO GBP Environmental Observatories Project	First division throughout academic carrier with 65% marks or above in M.Sc. or M. Sc. Tech. or B.Tech./M.Tech. (Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Oceanography/Physics/Chemistry/Environmental Science/Climate Science/Earth System Science/Remote Sensing and GIS/Applied Geophysics/Geography/Equivalent)	Minimum 2 years of Research Experience in Atmospheric Science and allied areas/computer programming/ one year project during M. Sc.	35	(i) 42,000/-+HRA (8%) For candidate qualifying CSIR NET (including Lectureship), GATE, or equivalent
Senior Research Fellow	1 (one)	(i) ISRO GBP Environmental Observatories Project		Preference will be given to the candidates with publications	35	(ii) As per the University's guidelines, for candidates who do not fall under (i) above.

Interested candidates are requested to appear for the interview on 31^st August, 2026 at 3:30 am at the Center for Atmospheric Studies, Dibrugarh University. Candidates are requested to submit a CV reflecting the publication details and self-attested copies of supporting documents to the interview panel. Candidates must also bring original documents and copies of publications, if any, for verification. The selected candidate will be intimated through email. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
