Diploma & Certificate Distance Admission 2026 Selection List

I) The Candidates, whose particulars are mentioned below have been provisionally selected for admission to Diploma and Certificate Courses through Distance Mode offered by this University purely on the basis of score obtained in the Qualifying Examinations.

II) Provisionally selected candidates are required to download their “Admission Form” from the official website of the University under “Admissions” tab on the home page and click on “Submit Admission Form for 1st Semester” from 07th May, 2026 by entering Application Form Number and DOB.

III) The provisionally selected candidates shall complete the admission form and visit the Centre for Distance and Online Education, University of Kashmir for completing the admission formalities by or before 8 th May, 2026 (5:00 p.m.) on working days only.

Important Note:

The Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education, who is the Chairman of Departmental Admission Committee, shall ensure that all the provisionally selected candidates possess the minimum required eligibility. The same may be verified with reference to the original documents/certificates of the candidates. The admission form of only eligible candidates should be accepted online and may be allowed to deposit fee via online mode.

The admission of the candidates is subject to:

Production of all relevant original documents [Marks Certificate/Transcript of qualifying examination, Reserved Category Certificate, Migration Certificate (wherever applicable)].
Production of eligibility cum revival of registration/migration form, wherever applicable, alongwith prescribed fee;
Fulfilling of minimum required eligibility conditions to be verified by the concerned Centre;
Clearance be sought from the Academic Section in respect of candidates having qualified examination from Universities/Institutions other than Universities/ Institutions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh;
Production of an affidavit sworn in before 1 st Class Judicial Magistrate stating that:
i) I am not on the rolls of any Institution for any Distance Mode programme;
ii) All the submitted certificates/documents are genuine and authentic;
iii) I shall strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the University of Kashmir in toto; iv) I understand that in case of any misinformation or concealment of any information or indiscipline or misconduct, my admission to the programme shall be cancelled and I shall be subject to legal action; v) I submit this affidavit under free will without any pressure, compulsion or fraud.
The provisionally selected candidates shall approach, alongwith the admission form and all the relevant certificates and documents (original and self-attested Xerox copies) to the concerned Centre for verification of documents/certificates and online acceptance of Admission form for depositing the prescribed Fee via online mode upto 8 th May, 2026.
The provisionally selected candidates from outside Kashmir Division can complete their admission formalities at Regional Centre for Distance Learning, Bathandi, Jammu.
Any provisionally selected candidate failing to complete the admission formalities upto 8 th May, 2026 (5:00 p.m.) shall forfeit his/her right to admission and the resultant vacancy (ies), if any, shall be filled up from among the waiting list.
Please note that all the Notifications shall be made available only on the Official website of the University and notices shall neither be published in print media nor shall any candidate be informed individually.
Notices uploaded on the official website of the University shall be deemed to have been served to the candidates.
