Note:

1. Candidates whose names appear in the First Provisional Admission List are hereby directed to report to their respective Departments on the date specified for admission, along with all original records, certificates and the requisite number of self-attested copies thereof, for verification and completion of the prescribed admission formalities

2. Wherever a candidate belonging to a subject, stream or faculty other than the concerned subject, stream or faculty has been considered for admission to any subject or programme, the aggregate marks obtained by such candidate in the qualifying examination have been taken into consideration for the preparation of the provisional merit list.

3. In respect of admission to the B.Sc. (CA), B.Sc.(IT), BJMC and BBA programmes, the provisional merit lists have been prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria and other applicable conditions of admission.

4. Verification of records for admission under the Sports Category shall be conducted on 28 and 29 July 2026.

5. Any candidate having any grievance, objection or issue relating to the admission process may submit a duly signed representation, along with relevant supporting records, to the Office of the Dean, Students’ Welfare, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi. The representation may also be submitted through email at admissiondspmu@gmail.com.

6. The inclusion of a candidate’s name in the provisional admission list shall not, by itself, confer any vested, legal or enforceable right to admission. Admission shall remain subject to verification of original records, fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility requirements, availability of seats and compliance with the applicable rules, regulations, reservation provisions and directions of the University.
