Admission to the Ph.D Programme

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme in various subjects/disciplines at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU), Ranchi, subject to the availability of seats and research supervisors. The subject-wise distribution of available Ph.D. seats is provided in Annexure I.

Application Procedure

Interested and eligible candidates are required to register on the official University website (https://dspmuranchi.ac.in) and complete the online application form within the prescribed timeline. Applicants must submit the duly completed form along with the required documents and pay the applicable application fee.

Application Fee

The application fee for online registration shall be Rs. 600/-

The application fee must be paid online at the time of submission of the application form.

Last Date for Application

The last date for online registration and submission of the application form is 25 October 2026. Candidates must complete the application process on or before the stipulated deadline.
