Online applications in prescribed form are invited for adrnission into first semester of M.Lib.I.Sc. Programme (Four Semesters) of Dibrugarh University for the academic session 2026-2027.

Entrance Test Details

There will be negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
The Entrance Test would be held for three (3) hrs. (without any Break).
Candidates must reach the venue at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes of the commencement of the exam.
Mobile Fhones, Smart Watch, Calculators or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
Candidates will be allowed to take only their admit card, a photo ID proof in original and blue/black pen, water bottles inside the exam hall.

Eligibility for Admission

At least a Bachelor's Degree of any UGC recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks in the general course. Candidates possessing higher academic, qualification are also eligible for admission. Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the reserved candidates.

Application Procedure

Application for Master of Library and Information Science Programme shall be through online mode only. No other means of application shall be accepted.
Online Registration for submission of Application Form will begin from 09/05/2026.
The last date for submission of application is 28/05/2026 (till 11:55 P.M.)
For submission of the Online Application Form, intending candidates are advised to follow the following instructions:
- For Online Application, please login to Admission Portal on https://dibru.ac.in or https://erp.dibru.work .
- The Candidate needs to register on the portal by clicking the "Register" button and providing his/her name, mobile number and a password. The mobile number will be verified through an OTP. Please remember the password for login.
- After successful registration, the candidate needs to login using hislher mobile number and the password.
- After login, the candidate needs to click on the "Apply" button corresponding to the link of "Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) Programmes" which will lead to an application form. The candidate needs to fill up the application form step by step.
- After completion of the filling-up the Form Candidate nedds to click the button "Submit and Review". A preview of the filled-up form will be displayed. Candidates are advised to carefully cross-check the information and if anything needs to be corrected at this stage, they can go back and edit.
- After ensuring that all the information displayed on the Preview is correct, the candidate needs to click "Pay now & Submit the application" and the pay the application fee of Rs. 950/- only through online mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking).
- The application form will be considered finally submitted only when the application fee is successfully paid by the candidate and an online receipt is generated confirming the payment.
- There will be a button to download your Application Form for future refenince.
- The Candidate shall have to take a print out of the Admit Card and bring the same to the Examination Hall on the Date of the Test for verffication.
- The Submission of Online Application Forms shall be automatically closed afterttre last date.
- Candidates seeking admission under the Non-Statutory Reservation Quota in the category of Sons and Daughters of the DU Employees / Retired Employees shall have to submit a print out of the Submitted Online Application Form of the M.A. in Performing Arts (Sattriya Dance / Theatre Art / Vocal Music) Programme 2026 along with the self-attested copies of all relevant testimonials and a Filled in Prescribed Form on or before 20/07/2026 at the Dr. Bhupen Hazafika Centre for Studies in Performing Arts, Dibrugarh University [Please refer Clause No. 2 (IV) (a) of 'Reservation and Relaxation Policy for admission into Post Graduate, Under Graduate, Advanced Post Graduote Diploma, Post Graduate, Diploma, Diploma and Certiftcate Programmes (Revised upto, February 2022) available in the Dibrugarh University Website].
Note: Certificate from competent authority must be submitted. Attach additional sheet if necessary.
There shall be no altemative procedure for Application for applyng to the Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) Programme and the University shall not receive the Application except ttre procedure mentioned at (2) above.

Admission Procedure

Selection for admission will be based on the marks obtained in an admission test / screening test to be conducted by the Centre for Library and Information Science Studies, Dibrugarh University.
