1. Based on the scores obtained in NET, the candidates will be eligible in three categories.

   Qualified for
   Category-1:	Award of JRF and appointment as Assistant Professor
   Category-2:	Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.
   Category-3:	Admission to Ph.D. only

2. Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D. Program must go through Clause C “Eligibility Criteria” of Notification: Amendments to Ordinances dated 09th August, 2017 and its Amendments approved by the Executive Council in its meeting held on 01-02-2019 to check if they are exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test (Annexure-I & II). However, interview is mandatory for all Candidates.
3. Teachers and Non-teaching staff who are in service of University of Delhi may directly appear for an interview. These will be supernumerary seats.
4. The candidates who have applied under EWS / OBC / SC / ST / differently-abled are advised to bring their original Caste / Medical / EWS certificates.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTERVIEW

• Candidates must bring their research proposal (02 copies) on the day of interview.
• Candidates should bring copy of Online registration form, Admit Card, Fellowship Award Letter (if any), Category Certificate, Mark-sheets and Certificates class 10th onwards to present, Dissertation / Thesis, Publications, any other testimonials for Academic Qualification.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• It is mandatory to bring the Admit Card and Application form. For the Identity Proof, please bring any one out of Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter’s Identity Card, passport etc.

Note: Department reserves the right to fill the vacant seats of Ph.D. program in case of non-availability of suitable candidate. The final admission is subject to verification of all documents related to category and academic eligibility criteria and fulfilling all other conditions laid down in Ordinance VI of the University of Delhi.
