Notice regarding filling up of vacant seats in B.Tech. 1st semester for the academic session 2026-27

It is hereby notified for information of all concerned candidates that three (03) seats are presently vacant for admission to the B.Tech. 1^st Semester Programme at Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET) for the academic session 2026–27. The number of vacant seats may increase depending upon the withdrawal of candidates already admitted.

The candidates for filling up the vacant seats will be selected from the waiting list prepared after the 3^rd Round of Admission-cum-Counselling held on 7^th August 2026, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria and admission rules of Dibrugarh University.

Candidates who have already registered for admission and are interested in being considered for the vacant seats are requested to submit their names for inclusion in the waiting list by clearly mentioning the following details:

1. Name of the Candidate
2. CEE Score/Rank
3. JEE Score/Rank, wherever applicable
4. Percentage of marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)
5. Mobile Number
6. Email ID

The above information should be sent through email to duietdu.admission2026@gmail.com on or before 14^th August 2026, by 2:00 PM.

Selection from the waiting list shall be made strictly as per the applicable admission criteria, merit and availability of seats. Mere submission of the name for inclusion in the waiting list shall not confer any right to admission.
