First Round of Counselling Cum Admission
For 3^rd Semester B. Tech. (Lateral Entry) Programme
Academic Session: 2026-2027

This is to notify that all B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) candidates who have registered their applications through the Dibrugarh University online web portal and also those who wish to apply through "On Spot" registration process are hereby invited to the 1^st round of counselling cum admission process into the 3^rd semester B.Tech. Programme offered by DUIET, D.U for the session 2026-27 through entrance test to be conducted on 24^th July, 2026.

The admission shall be strictly on merit basis and subject to production of all the relevant documents in original including final semester grade-sheet/mark-sheet without which no responsibility will lie on the authorities regarding conformation of Admission.

Date of Counselling	:	24^th of July, 2026.
Venue	:	Sir M. Visvesvaraya Bhawan, DUIET, Dibrugarh University
Reporting Time	:	09:00 a.m.
Commencement of Entrance Test: 10:00 am
End of Entrance Test: 11:00 am
Declaration of Result: 12:30 pm
Start of Counselling cum admission process: 02:30 pm

1. Fee Payable at the time of admission.

Admission Fee: Rs. 10,745.00
Third Semester Course Fee: Rs. 50,000.00

Total Fees of Rs. 60,745/- must be paid
on the day of counselling cum admission.

2. Original Documents to be produced for verification during counselling.

HSLC (Class X): Admit Card.
Diploma passed certificate & Mark sheet.
B.Sc. pass Certificate & Mark sheet (if applicable).
Valid Caste Certificate from competent authority(if applicable)
Gap Certificate in the form of Court Affidavit. (if applicable)
Two no's of recent passport size photograph.
CGPA to percent convert formula by competent authority (if applicable).

Note:

The seat break up in different Engg. Branches shall be notified on the day of the Counselling.
Subjects of the entrance test (objective type): Mathematics, English and Mental Ability of 10+2 standard.
