FYUGP 7th and 8th Semester Admission 2026 Notification Released

All the eligible students of FYUGP 6th Semester, Batch 2023 and previous backlog batches of 2022, who have appeared in the recently concluded semester end examination, are informed through the medium of this notice to complete their admission formalities for admission to 7th and 8th semester, by logging in through the student sign-in facility available at university website: www.cusrinagar.edu.in and deposit Annual University Component of admission fee of Rs. 8885/- for Cluster University of Srinagar students and Rs. 12385/- for the students migrating from institutions other than CUS from 18.07.2026 to 23.07.2026.

The students fulfilling the statutory eligibility requirements for appearing in the Semester End Examination of 6th Semester and fulfilling conditions, as per requirements of the opted mode, shall be eligible to seek admission to 7th & 8th Semesters of the Programme as under:

Admission to Honours Mode:

1. All the students, who have sought admission to the FYUGP in any college of the Cluster University shall be eligible to continue for the fourth year in Honours mode in their respective colleges, subject to the condition that the college has not been debarred by the Higher Education Department for admissions to the 4th year in the Honours Mode. The eligible students of such colleges, may seek exit and inter-college / interuniversity migration and join the colleges offering Honours Mode in their chosen Major and Minor subjects. However, students shall be admitted to the desired Honors or Honors with Research Programme on the basis of eligibility, the seat vacancy and feasibility report of the designated committee.

2. Students interested to join Honours Programme in the 7th & 8th Semesters should not have a backlog of more the 50% credits up to 5th Semester of the Programme to be eligible to seek admission in this mode, in the colleges affiliated to Cluster University of Srinagar.

3. Students seeking admission in 4th year in institutions, constituent / affiliated to other universities after inter-university migration, must have cleared all the courses of the programme up to and including the 6th Semester of FYUGP.

Admission to Honours with Research Mode:

1. The colleges identified to offer Honours with Research for 7th and 8th Semesters in the subjects mentioned against each in consultation with the concerned principals shall be entitled to offer the Research mode in the 4th year of FYUGP.

2. Students interested to join Honours with Research in the 7th & 8th Semesters must have successfully qualified all the six Semesters of the Programme with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 (75% marks) to be eligible to seek admission in this mode, in their own institutions or seeking inter-college / inter-university migration.

General Guidelines:

1. The candidates shall visit the admission section of colleges, where they intend to seek admission, for completion of registration formalities.

2. The candidates of earlier batches who have successfully completed three-year Bachelor’s (General) Degree programme under Annual / Semester / CBCS modes are also eligible to seek admission in the 7th Semester under honors mode with dual majors in the colleges identified for the purpose. However, candidates who have completed the three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Honours Mode shall be eligible for Single Major also. Candidates shall submit the online form available on the University Website. In case of any difficulty related to online form submission, the candidates can visit the IT Cell of the respective Colleges (with all original documents).

3. The candidates shall submit the (Enrolment sheet of batch 2022 downloaded Admission form (previous batches) for 7th Semester in the college concerned with a specific subject combination.

4. The college shall assign the subjects online as mentioned by the candidate in the Enrolment Sheet/Admission form.

5. Confirmation of subjects (assigned online by the College) and

6. Submission of requisite fee.

7. Principals of all the constituent/affiliated colleges shall forward the Registration returns along with fee report to the office of the undersigned within 10 days after the closure of admission.

Other terms and conditions regarding admission shall remain the same as notified in earlier notices. Students are advised to complete the registration formalities along with deposition of required fee including opting for the available options / modes as per eligibility within the stipulated time as per the guidelines:
