5-Year LL.B. Mop-Up Round Admission 2026-27

Final Mop-Up Admission Round for 5-Year Integrated LL.B. Programme (Session: 2026-27)

In continuation of the earlier notifications issued in this regard, and in reference to the admission rounds conducted pursuant to the Common Admission Test (CAT) for the 5-Year Integrated LL.B. Programme for the Academic Session 2026-27, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that a Final Mop-Up Admission Round shall be conducted to fill the seats remaining vacant after the conclusion of all previous counselling and spot admission rounds, as per the following schedule and terms:

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR THE MOP-UP ROUND

2.1 Candidates who are eligible to participate in the Final Mop-Up Round are:

(i) Candidates who appeared in the CAT for the 5-Year Integrated LL.B. Programme 2026, figure in the published University Rank List, and have not been admitted in any previous round; and

(ii) Candidates who were allotted a seat in a previous round but subsequently cancelled their admission and returned their seat, subject to the condition that their name continues to appear in the valid Rank List.

2.2 Candidates who have already confirmed and completed their admission in any previous round and are currently enrolled are not eligible to participate in the Mop-Up Round.

3. SEAT MATRIX

a. The college-wise, category-wise vacancy matrix for the Mop-Up Round are stated below. Only those seats that remain genuinely vacant after all preceding rounds, including the Spot Admission Round, shall be available in the Mop-Up Round.

b. The vacancy matrix, as published, shall be final and binding. No institution shall add, withhold, or misrepresent seats in the Mop-Up vacancy matrix. Any discrepancy shall be reported to the Academic Registrar immediately and before the commencement of the Mop-Up Round.

4. PROCESS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Portal-Based Process: All registrations, allotments, and admissions in the Mop-Up Round shall be conducted exclusively through the Samarth Admission Portal. No offline, manual, or parallel process shall be permitted or recognised.
  2. Physical Reporting: Candidates who accept and complete admission in the Mop-Up Round must physically report to the concerned College on or before 24 and 25th July, 2026. Failure to physically report within the stipulated date, without prior written intimation to the Principal of the College, shall render the admission liable to cancellation without further notice.
  3. Provisional Admission: All admissions granted in the Mop-Up Round are strictly provisional, subject to verification of original documents within the first week of commencement of classes for the Academic Session 2026-27, in terms of the conditions notified in this regard.

DIRECTIONS TO AFFILIATED LAW COLLEGES

All Affiliated Law Colleges offering the 5-Year Integrated LL.B. Programme are hereby directed to:

  1. Accurately report their college-wise, category-wise vacancy figures to the University by 23rd July, 2026 for compilation of the Mop-Up vacancy matrix;
  2. Conduct the Mop-Up admission process strictly through the Samarth Portal within the notified schedule;
  3. Maintain a complete, time-stamped record of all offer-of-admission communications and candidate responses; and
  4. Ensure that no admission is granted after the conclusion of the Mop-Up Round under any circumstances whatsoever.
