Postponement of ASSAMCAT 2026 for 3 Year LL.B Programme

This is for the information of all concerned that the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted as ASSAMCAT 2026 for admission to the 3 Year LL.B. Programme in all universities and colleges in Assam (except Dibrugarh University) has been postponed due to the unprecedented flood situation in Assam. Further, for the benefit of the candidates aspiring for admission to the 3 Year LL.B. programme in colleges and universities of Assam, a revised schedule of ASSAMCAT 2026 has been approved as below:

Eligibility: A degree (graduation) in any discipline or any equivalent qualification from any recognized University with a minimum percentage of marks not below 45% of the total marks in case of general category applicants, 42% of the total marks in case of OBC/MOBC category applicants and 40% of the total marks in case of SC, ST category applicants.

Examination Centres: Tezpur, Nagaon, Silchar, Guwahati, Kokrajhar, Barpeta and Goalpara.

Candidates who have applied before need not apply.
