B.Tech Biotechnology Admission Date Rescheduled

Rescheduled Counselling cum Admission Date for B.Tech. (Biotechnology)

In continuation of the earlier Notification vide Ref. No. SECY/UC/2026/2756 dated 25-07-2026, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the Counselling-cum-Admission for the B. Tech. (Biotechnology) programme of Gauhati University for the Academic Session 2026–2027, for candidates who appeared in the Entrance Test held on 21 July 2026, has been rescheduled.

The revised Counselling-cum-Admission schedule is as follows:

Counselling cum Admission for B. Tech (Biotechnology) programme for the Academic Session 2026–27
Admission Date	07 August, 2026
Admission Venue	Department of Bioengineering and Technology, Gauhati University, Jalukbari, Guwahati, Assam
Reporting Time	Candidates must report on or before 10:30 AM. Failure to report within the stipulated time shall result in the cancellation of their candidature for counselling.
Admission Time	11:00 AM onwards

All eligible candidates are advised to report at the venue well before the scheduled reporting time along with all original documents and other required certificates for verification.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the Gauhati University website for updates, instructions and any further notifications regarding the admission process (https://admissions.gauhati.ac.in/).
