BTech Admission 2026-27: Spot Counselling notification

Applications (through a Google form) are invited for the Spot counseling for admission against a few vacant seats in B.Tech in Biotechnology programme of Gauhati University Institute of Science and Technology (GUIST) for the Academic Session 2026–27 which will be conducted on 20 August 2026 (Thursday) from 2:00 p.m. based on the CEE (Assam)-2026 score.

1. All seat allotments made during the counseling shall be purely provisional and will be subject to verification of the original documents and fulfillment of all eligibility criteria prescribed by Gauhati University.
2. If, at any stage, any information furnished by a candidate is found to be incorrect or if the candidate is found ineligible during verification of the supporting documents, the provisional admission shall stand cancelled without further notice.
3. Candidates admitted during the 2^nd Counselling and intending to withdraw their seats shall WITHDRAW their admission through the SAMARTH portal on or before 19 August 2026 and apply for refund to the GUIST office by 20 August, 2026. The refund of fee, wherever applicable, shall be processed as per the Gauhati University Rules.
