Admission to the Minor Degree Course in Quantum Technology
Under NQM of DST Physics Department, Gauhati University (for the session 2026-27)

The last date for the Online Applications in the prescribed online portal (https://gauhati.ac.in/departments/physics/updates/) are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following Minor Degree Course in Quantum Technology Under NQM of DST Programmes in Gauhati University Campus for the session 2025-26 :which were notified vide notification No.SECY/UC/2025/2936 dated 10.08.2026 and 2936(A) is hereby extended up to 24-08-2026.

Course Highlights:

Top-up Degree in addition to parent (B.Tech degree), in harmony with NEP 2020
Duration - Six semesters (one course of 3 credits per semester)
Course Fee - Rs. 6500/- per semester
Eligibility - Students of 3rd semester of all the B.Tech courses of Gauhati University
After successful completion of the course, an additional Minor Degree will be awarded along with the parent B.Tech Degree
