APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR ORIGINAL/PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATES OF GU-IDOL / GUCDOE

Gauhati University invites applications from eligible former learners of the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), Gauhati University, presently known as the Gauhati University Centre for Distance and Online Education (GUCDOE), for issuance of their Original/Provisional Certificates, as applicable.

As a special initiative of the University, the certificates will be presented to eligible applicants through a Ceremonial Certificate Distribution Programme in the presence of distinguished VIP/VVIP guests and dignitaries.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Opening of Application: 23 August 2026, 5 PM onwards
• Last Date for Submission of Application: 30 August 2026
• Ceremonial Distribution of Certificates: 8 September 2026

VENUE

Convention Hall, Gauhati University
Gopinath Bordoloi Nagar, Guwahati–781014

The programme will be held at the Convention Hall prepared by Gauhati University in connection with the Civic Reception of the Hon’ble Vice-President of India.

ELIGIBLE PROGRAMMES & CERTIFICATE FEES

Eligible candidates are requested to submit their applications within the stipulated period along with the prescribed fee and requisite documents.

Only applications received on or before 30 August 2026 will be considered for inclusion in the Ceremonial Certificate Distribution Programme scheduled for 8 September 2026.

Applicants are advised to ensure that all information furnished in the application is complete and correct. Incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect information may not be considered.
