Counseling cum Admission 2026-27: Integrated M.Tech. (CSE/IT):: JEE Category

It is hereby notified to all applicants who have successfully submitted applications for admission into Integrated M.Tech. (CSE/IT) programmes against JEE Category, that the Counseling cum Admission will be held on June 9, 2026 as per following details:

1. Venue: Dept of Information Technology, Gauhati University
2. Date and Time: June 9, 2026, 10 am onwards.
3. Those who cannot attend physically may also attend online. They have to send an email requesting for appearing online to infotech@gauhati.ac.in before the counseling starts.
4. Process: Based on the JEE AIR, and Selection of Branch by the students, Seats will be allotted. Immediately Fee Payment Link (Rs. 28980/- for the 1st Semester) will be sent to their Registered Email. Fee Payment (UPI/Net banking/Credit card/Debit card) has to be completed within 30 Minutes. Otherwise allotted Seat will be released.
5. All such admissions will be Provisional, and subject to Physical Verification of the documents. Those who attend the admission Physically may complete on the same date. Online attendees will have to complete the physical document verification by June 22^nd, 2026.
6. Students must possess a valid Assam Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
