M.Ed. ADMISSION NOTICE

This is to notify all concerned that a few seats are lying vacant in the M.Ed. Programme for the current academic session-2026. Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill up the vacant seats under the following categories:

• STP: 1 Seat
• SC: 1 Seat

Eligible candidates are hereby informed to appear for spot admission on 3rd April 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Department of Education, Gauhati University.

Candidates must bring all original documents for verification at the time of admission. Admission will be made strictly based on merit and as per university rules.

Note: Only those candidates who have appeared in the Gauhati University M.Ed. Entrance Test, 2026 are eligible to participate in the spot admission process.
