Introduction of Minor Degree Course in Quantum Technology for B.Tech/B.E. Programmes, 2026-27

As recommended by the Joint Meeting of the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Technology, G.U held on 24.07.2026 the hon'ble Vice Chancellor, GU, is pleased to approve the introduction of the Minor Degree Course in Quantum Technology in the Department of Physics, Gauhati University for students of B.Tech./B.E. programmes from the academic session 2026-2027, under report to the Academic Council.

Further, as recommended by the Joint Meeting of the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Technology, G.U., held on 24.07.2026, the hon'ble Vice Chancellor, GU, has also approved the draft Regulations and Syllabus of the Minor Degree Course in Quantum Technology as recommended by the CCS in Physics held on 29.06.2026 under report to the Academic Council giving effect from the academic session 2026-2027.
