Admission notification - PG Diploma in French Language

Online Applications in the prescribed online portal https://gauhatiadmission.samarth.edu.in.are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following Post Graduate Diploma Programmes in Gauhati University Campus for the session 2026-27.

1. Applicants are required to apply online ONLY.
2. Each applicant must scan his/her photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature comply with the required specifications as mentioned in the upload section of the online application process.
3. Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
4. Keep all the necessary details/documents/certificates ready for the documents upload section and a successful online payment of the application fee is required to submit an online Application Form.
5. Applicants must have a valid personal email ID and contact number, which should be kept active till the completion of this admission process. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/mention e-mail ID to/of any other person. In case an applicant does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying online and must maintain that email account.

2. Click on the appropriate programme.
3. Fill up the Form, save, and upload all necessary documents.
4. Submit the form and pay the fee in the final step.
5. No change to the information filled in by the applicants will be possible/accepted after the final submission of the Application Form.

• APPLICATION FEE: An application fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) is to be paid online.
• HOW TO PAY THE APPLICATION FEE ONLINE:

Application fees must be paid through the ONLINE MODE only and other modes of payment will not be accepted. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, and Internet Banking/UPI. The fee once paid is non-refundable. It is important to note that an e-receipt of application fee payment may not be generated if an online transaction is unsuccessful.

After successfully completing the online application process, applicants need to print and keep their payment E-receipt and filled-out online application form for future reference.

All applicants are advised to follow the eligibility criteria before filling up the online admission form. Students are also advised to keep visiting the University website (www.gauhati.ac.in) from time to time to know about any change of policy
And dates that may occur, if and when required. If a candidate filled up the application form without proper eligibility Criteria, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
