PG Endowment Seat Admission 2026–27

This is for the information of all eligible candidates that Gauhati University has notified the criteria, rules, and administrative regulations for admission under Endowment Seats for Post Graduate Programme for the Academic Session 2026–27, as per ANNEXURE-A, following steps are to be completed:

Candidates interested in applying for admission under the Endowment Seat category are required to mandatorily register online through the link mentioned below:

Candidate(s) failing to submit their willingness for admission in endowment seats in the link provided above by 5 P.M. (1700 hours) of 6^th of August, 2026 shall not be considered for admissions against endowment seats under normal circumstances.

One Time Fee for Endowment Seats:

For Traditional/Non-traditional Subjects without Practical: Rs. 85,000/-
For Traditional/Non-traditional Subjects with Practical: Rs. 1,20,000/-
For Management (MBA), Professional Courses: Rs. 1,30,000/-

It may be noted that candidates seeking admission under admission under endowment quota needs to pay both the fees.

One-time endowment fees, as mentioned above.
Admission fees.

It is categorically reiterated that endowment fee is non-refundable, hence once paid it will not be refunded in any case. However, in the event of cancellation, admission fees will be refunded, as per University policy.

If a candidate is selected for admission under Endowment seat, they will receive an admission offer mail along with endowment fee payment link and details submission link in their registered email ID from the University on 7^th August, 2026.

Upon receipt of the email, the applicants are required to make the payment of endowment fees in the link and shall submit the payment receipt in details submission link provided in the admission offer mail within the stipulated timeline.

Only upon submission of the payment receipt, the candidate will receive admission fees payment link in the admission portal.

Candidate need to complete the admission process by payment of the admission fees within the stipulated payment timeline by logging into the admission portal using their login credentials.

Important Instructions:

Candidates must carefully read the Endowment Seat Notification (Ref. No.: SECY/UC/2026/2601) before submitting the online form.
Submission of the Google Form does not guarantee admission. Selection will be made as per merit.
Candidates must upload/provide all required details correctly. Incomplete or incorrect applications are liable to be rejected.
The Endowment Fee and other applicable fees shall be payable as per the University Notification.
