PhD Admission 2026 Spring: Selection List, Fees & Important Dates

It is for information to all concerned that selected list of Ph.D. applicants of different academic departments for admission to the Ph.D. academic session 2026-2027 (Spring) will be published on the Gauhati University website at www.gauhati.ac.in on 24-03-2026. The selected candidates have to complete the online admission process by making payment of admission fees as shown below through SAMARTH from 25-03-2026 to 27-03-2026.

This is issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, GU dated 13-03-2026.

Admission Fee:

Arts/Law: Rs.11,120/-
Science, Technology, Medicine, Commerce & Management: Rs.20,710/-
Science, Technology, Medicine, Commerce & Management (International): Rs.1,03,550/-
Arts/Law (International): Rs.55,600/-
