Ph.D. Counselling
Dept. of Bioengineering and Technology 2026-27

This is for the information of all concerned that the Counselling for admission to the Ph.D. Programme in the Department of Bioengineering and Technology will be held as per the following schedule:

Based on the GURET-2026 Merit List notified by the Office of the Academic Registrar vide Letter No. GU/Acad./GURET-2026/3037 dated 29.07.2026, the candidates listed below have been shortlisted to appear for the counselling. All shortlisted candidates must report at the venue with the original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification. The following documents are mandatory:

1. Certificates and mark sheets of all qualifying examinations (from Class X onwards).
2. Valid Caste Certificate, wherever applicable.
3. Valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate for OBC/OBC-MOBC candidates, wherever applicable.
4. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate for the current financial year, wherever applicable.
5. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer, in case of candidates who are currently employed.
6. A short write up in 300-500 words on research topic of interest.

Any other relevant documents supporting the candidate's eligibility, if applicable.

Important: Candidates who fail to produce the required original documents at the time of counselling or are found ineligible based on document verification shall not be considered for admission to the Ph.D. Programme
