The Counselling will include a one-hour written test of 20 marks followed by a personal interview of 20 marks.

For selection for admission, the weightage will be as follows: GURET = 60% + Counselling = 40%

Candidates are requested to bring originals of all documents submitted as part of the application process, including Category certificate (NCL and Domicile Assam) where applicable, marksheets of all semesters at BA and MA level, and any other document as mentioned in the Notification No. GU/Acad./GURET-2026/3037 dated 29/07/2026 published on the Gauhati University website.
