Ph.D Counselling for Philosophy GURET-2026

It is for information of all concerned that counselling of candidates of the merit list of Department of Philosophy (Number of available seats: [UR:02+OBC:01=] Three/ 03 only), from among the GURET -2026 as notified by the O/o Academic Registrar, University of Gauhati vide Notification Memo Number: Acad./ Acad./GURET-2026/3037 Dated the July 29/2026 will be conducted by the Philosophy Department in following manner.

(a) Date: 03/08/2026.
(b) Time: 11.00 AM onwards.
(c) Venue: Conference Hall, Philosophy Department, GU, Guwahati.

The candidates are requested to report for counselling as per the schedule above (The candidates are requested to report with original documents regarding their educational qualifications and certificate for availing reservation).

**The counselling will be conducted strictly as per provisions and the guidelines of University of Gauhati with special reference to the notification as noted (GURET -2026 Notification of the O/o Academic Registrar, University of Gauhati Memo Number: Acad./ Acad./GURET-2026/3037 Dated the July 29/2026)
