Notification Regarding Unauthorized Hostel Occupancy by Students Without Proper Allotment

This is for information of all concerned that it has come to the notice of the undersigned that some PG and UG students are occupying hostel seats in Gauhati University without proper allotment or admission to the respective hostels.

Such unauthorized occupation of hostel accommodation is a clear violation of the Hostel Rules and Regulations of Gauhati University.

Therefore, all such students are hereby directed to vacate the hostel premises forthwith. Failure to comply with this notification shall invite strict disciplinary action as deemed appropriate under the rules and regulations of Gauhati University.

All concerned are requested to extend their cooperation in ensuring the strict implementation of this notification.
