2nd Merit List for Admission to Postgraduate (PG) Programmes 2026

This is for the information of all candidates whose names have been included in the Second Merit List for admission to the Postgraduate (PG) Programmes of Kokrajhar University for the Academic Session 2026–2027 that they are required to accept the Admission Offer sent through the eSamarth Portal from Kokrajhar University within the stipulated timeline prescribed by Director of Higher Education Assam.

After the acceptance of Admission Offer, they must report to Kokrajhar University in person to proceed with the subsequent stages of the admission process.

1. Log in to the eSamarth Portal using your registered User ID and Password.
2. Open the Admission Offer available in your dashboard.
3. Carefully verify the details and click the "ACCEPT" button to accept the admission offer.
4. Follow the video instructions provided by the University/eSamarth to complete the acceptance process correctly.

5. Complete the acceptance process within the stipulated timeline prescribed in the eSamarth Portal (maximum up to 11^th August 2026, 3:00 PM)

Candidates facing any technical issue or noticing any discrepancy in the eSamarth Portal are advised to immediately contact the concerned Head of the Department or the Office of the Academic Registrar/Admission Cell for necessary assistance before the last date.

All selected candidates are advised to complete the acceptance process at the earliest to facilitate timely completion of the admission process.

Further, all candidates seeking admission to the Postgraduate (PG) Programmes at Kokrajhar University for the Academic Session 2026–2027 that the following instructions shall be strictly followed during the admission process:

• Admission shall be conducted strictly on the basis of the Selection List published in the Samarth PG Admission Portal. Only those candidates whose names appear in the respective Selection List shall be eligible to appear for document verification and admission.
• Candidates must report to the concerned Department on the date and time notified by the University for verification of original documents. Admission shall be confirmed only after successful verification of eligibility and original documents.
• All candidates are required to produce the original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies at the time of verification along with the filled-up Admission Verification Form attached.
• Admission fees shall be paid only through online mode after successful verification and confirmation of eligibility.
• The selected candidates shall bring the following documents for verification:
  • Printout of the Samarth PG Admission Application/Registration Form.
  • Selection/Offer Letter downloaded from the Samarth PG Admission Portal.
  • All original Marksheets, Pass Certificate and Certificates from HSLC onwards.
  • Provisional/Original Degree Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate/ Category Certificate (where applicable).
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Passport-size photographs.
  • First page of the Bank Passbook
  • Income Certificate / Ration Card (where applicable)
  • Migration Certificate, wherever applicable within stipulated time.
  • Gap Certificate/Affidavit, if applicable.
• If any discrepancy is found in the information or documents submitted by a candidate at any stage, the candidature/admission shall be liable to cancellation in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations of the University.
• Failure to complete document verification and fee payment within the stipulated period shall result in forfeiture of the admission offer, and the seat may be allotted to the next eligible candidate as per the University admission procedure.

Note:

Any seats remaining vacant after completion of the 2nd Round of Admission shall be filled through On-the-Spot Admission, scheduled to be held from 12th to 14th August 2026, subject to availability of seats and fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.
