Notice regarding information of Admission for applicants seeking admission to Post Graduate Courses in Kokrajhar University

In pursuance of the notification issued by the Office of the Director of Higher Education, Assam, vide Letter No. E-775718/18-A dated 10-09-2026, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that applications for admission to various Post Graduate Courses under Kokrajhar University are invited for the Academic Session 2026–27.

It is further notified that the Post Graduate Course in Sociology is being introduced under Kokrajhar University from the Academic Session 2026–27. Eligible and interested applicants may apply for admission to the said programme through the Assam SAMARTH Portal within the stipulated admission period.

This shall be the last and final round of admission to the Post Graduate Courses for the Academic Session 2026–27. The admission process shall be conducted through the Assam SAMARTH Portal from 10th to 15th September 2026 and shall be strictly on a “First Come, First Serve” basis, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria and availability of seats.

Further, only those applicants who have not taken admission in any Higher Educational Institution (HEI) shall be eligible to participate in this admission round.

It is also notified that no cancellation or withdrawal of admission shall be permitted during this round. No application for admission shall be entertained after the prescribed last date, i.e., 15th September 2026.

All concerned applicants are advised to complete the admission process within the stipulated period and comply with the prescribed admission requirements.
