Admission to LL.B. (Integrated Five Years) and B.Tech. for NRI/NRI-Sponsored Candidates, 2026-2027

Applications are invited for admission to LL.B. five year (Integrated) & B.Tech. programme for the Academic Session 2026-27 in the University under the NRI/NRI Sponsored following quota.

  • LL.B. (Integrated five year) 30 seats

For admission under above quota, the candidates are required to submit Online Application form through university website (www.lkouniv.ac.in) available on the University website www.lkouniv.ac.in along with the self- attested photocopies of certificates/documents as mentioned in the general instructions for the candidates called for counseling under respective quota.

Incomplete applications and ineligible applicants shall be rejected with out any notice to the candidates. Candidates applying for admission to LL.B. (Integrated) 1st semester / B.Tech. 1st semester must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility qualification criteria prescribed by the University, failing which their candidature will be cancelled. For details of eligibility, availability of courses, fee, hostel etc. in the University, please refer to the UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION BROCHURE-2026 available on the University website www.lkouniv.ac.in .

Note:
  • Fill online Application Form through University website for NRI/NRI Sponsored admission.
  • The list of eligible candidates called for counseling will be notified on the website. No separate intimation shall be sent.
  • The latest orders issued by the Government of UP/University up to the date of NRI/NRI-Sponsored counseling shall be applicable for admission to NRI and NRI- Sponsored candidates.

Admission of Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and NRI-Sponsored Candidates
Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and NRI-Sponsored candidates, who possess prescribed qualifications, may get direct admission in LL.B. 5 year (Integrated) / B.Tech. course Semester-I on merit, subject to the latest instructions of the University and UP government. The detailed information will be published on university website. The candidates, opting for admission under this quota, need not to appear in Lucknow University entrance test.

The process of admission shall be as follows:
  • NRI and NRI-Sponsored quota seats shall be filled from NRI’s or son/daughter/real brother/real sister of NRI’s or candidates Sponsored NRI who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution situated outside India, which is considered equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities.
  • All such candidates must submit an NRI certificate obtained from Indian Diplomatic Mission/Chancellery/High Commission under their seal at the time of counseling.
  • The candidate must also submit sufficient documents clearly establishing, without any ambiguity, their genuine relationship with the sponsoring NRI. This relationship must remain valid for the entire duration of the programme and should be to the satisfaction of the University.
  • The Candidates will be informed separately about the counselling date and the number of seats under this quota through the University website. They are required to be present in person on the day of counselling with all original documents/certificates, failing which they will lose their claim.
  • The latest orders issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh/University up to the date of NRI counselling shall be applicable for admission under the NRI quota.
Counselling Procedure for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and NRI-Sponsored Candicates
  • List of the eligible candidates called for the Counselling shall be notified on University Website only. Candidates must visit university website regularly. Individual intimation shall not be sent.
  • Candidates called for NRI counselling shall have to personally appear as per counselling schedule notified on university website at the university campus along with following original certificates / documents (with one photocopy of each). Candidates reporting for seeking admission through NRI counselling should come with the following documents as per schedule, failing which they will not be permitted to participate in the counselling and university will not be responsible for consequences.
