Faculty of Engineering & Technology, University of Lucknow invites applications for M.Tech. (Part-Time) programme in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) branch beginning from July 2026 semester, in the following specializations:

Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)- 20 Seats
Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security)- 20 Seats
Electronics & Communication Engineering- 20 Seats
Electrical Engineering (Power System)- 20 seats
Mechanical Engineering (Industrial and Production Engineering)- 20 seats

Minimum Eligibility

Candidates satisfying the following norms are eligible:
Admission to M.Tech. (Part-Time) programme will be madeby University of Lucknow through a written test and/or interview as per university norms.

The minimum academic qualification for M.Tech. (Part-Time) will be a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent in the relevant branch with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) from any recognized Indian University, or Master’s degree in Computer Application / M.Sc. (Computer Science) / Information Technology) or B.E. / B.Tech. equivalent examination of Professional Societies recognized by MoE/UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institution of Engineers-India, AMICE by the institute of Civil Engineers-India and so on), or its equivalent recognized by AIU.

There is no age limit for the admission in M.Tech. (Part-Time) programme.

Course Fees

M.Tech. (Part-Time) Fee: Rs. 40,000/- per semester
Note: In addition to the mentioned fees, Rs. 5,000/- as caution money (Refundable), Rs. 1,000/- as enrolment fees (Non-Refundable) and Rs. 50/- for Identity card will be collected at the time of admission.

Important Guidelines for M.Tech. (Part-Time) Application

After filling the form, please take a printout and keep it for record purpose.
The application fee (Non-refundable)-
GEN/OBC/EWS: Rs. 1,900/-
SC/ST/PH: Rs. 950/-
Please ensure to save the payment reference number.
A valid SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ EWS certificate must be uploaded on the ONLINE application portal and also should be submitted at the time of verification and admission.
