Online Application for admission into the M. Pharm. Programme 2026-27

Online Applications in prescribed form are invited for admission to the Two Years (4 semesters) Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Programmes in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology for the session 2026-2027.

  • Online Registration will begin from: 07.07.2026
  • Last date for Online Registration: 27.07.2026 (11:55 pm)


Eligibility:
  • (a) Passed B. Pharm. Examination with minimum of 55% marks from PCI recognized Institute/College/University. The candidates appearing the BPharm 8th Semester examination and the result is expected before the admission to the M.Pharm. Programme, may also apply.
  • (b) Qualified GPAT or CUET(PG) with a valid score. Preference will be given to GPAT qualified candidates. GPAT qualified students will get scholarships as per PCI/UGC norms.
    OR
    Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, D. U. may conduct M Pharm Entrance Examination, if adequate numbers of GPAT qualified candidates are not available.
  • (c) Admission in the sponsored seats and the seats under EWS category (supernumerary) will be filled up as per approved Rules of the University.
Application Procedure:
  • 1. Application for Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Programme shall be through online mode only. No other means of application shall be accepted.
  • 2. Online Registration for submission of Application Form will begin from 07.07.2026 The last date for submission of application is 27.07.2026 (till 11.55 p.m.)
  • 3. For submission of the Online Application Form, intending candidates are advised to follow the following instructions:
    • a) For Online Application, please login to Admission Portal on https://dibru.ac.in or https://erp.dibru.work/
    • b) The Candidate needs to register on the portal by clicking the “Register” button and providing his/her name, mobile number and a password. The mobile number will be verified through an OTP. Please remember the password for login.
    • c) After successful registration, the candidate needs to login using his/her mobile number and the password.
    • d) After login, the candidate needs to click on the "Apply" button corresponding to the link of "Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Programme" which will lead to an application form. The candidate needs to till up the applicationform step by step.
    • e) After completion of the filling-up the Form Candidate needs to click the button “Submit and Review”. A preview of the filled-up form will be displayed. Candidates are advised to carefully cross-check the information and if anything needs to be corrected at this stage, they can go back and edit
    • f) After ensuring that all the information displayed on the Preview is correct, the candidate needs to click ‘Pay now & Submit the application” and the pay the application fee of Rs 950/- only through online mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking).
    • g) The application form will be considered finally submitted only when the application fee is successfully paid by the candidate and an online receipt is generated confirming the payment.
    • h) There will be a button to download your Application Form for future reference.
    • i) The Submission of Online Application Forms shall be automatically closed after the last date.
    • j) Candidates seeking admission under the Non-Statutory Reservation Quota in the category of Sons and Daughters of the DU Employees /Retired Employees shall have to submit a print copy of the submitted Online Application form of the “Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Programme” along with self attested copies of all relevant testimonials and a Filled in Prescribed Form on or before 27/07/2026 (during office hours) at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University [Please refer Clause No. 2 (IV) (b) of ‘Reservation and Relaxation Policy for admission into Post Graduate, Under Graduate, Advanced Post Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Dipolma and Certificate Programme (Revised upto February 2022) available in the Dibrugarh University Website]. A Certificate from competent authority of Dibrugarh University must be submitted.

  • There shall be no altemative procedure for Application for applying to ttre Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Programme and the University shall not receive the Application except the procedure mentioned at (2) above.
Additional information for Admission to M Pharm 1st semester at Dibrugarh University for the Academic Session 2026-2027:
The intake of candidates in different specializations are as follows:
  • Pharmaceutics: 15 (sponsored-02) + EWS 02
  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry: 6 + EWS 01
  • Pharmacognosy: 6 + EWS 01
  • Pharmacology : 6 + EWS 01
  • (a) Preference will be given to the valid GPAT qualified candidates.
    • GPAT qualified candidates graduated from Dibrugarh University : 80%
    • GPAT qualified candidates graduated from other Universities : 20%
  • (b) For Non-GPAT candidates, the admission may be on the basis of performance in M Pharm Entrance Examination to be conducted by Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences, D. U.
  • (c) Candidates seeking admission against seats reserved for SC/ST must submit certificates of the caste issued by the competent government authorities.
  • (d) Candidates seeking admission under the category of OBC/MOBC must produce non-creamy layer valid certificate from the concerned Office.
  • (e) Statutory reservation policy shall be followed as per the Rules of the University.
