List of Applicants and Entrance Exam

Following is the list of applicants for One Year P.G. Diploma in Guidance and Counselling for the academic year 2026-27. The Entrance Exam for this Diploma Program is scheduled on 11th September, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. (Reporting Time- 10:30 A.M.) at the Department of Psychology, Manipur University. All the candidates who aspire to take admission in the PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling must appear in the entrance exam. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of entrance score.

Entrance Examination Pattern: The entrance examination will consist of 50 questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with a duration of 2 hours.
Section A:
- General Aptitude - 20 Questions
- General Awareness, Current Affairs & Reasoning

Section B:
- Psychology -30 Questions
- Undergraduate-level Psychology: (Introduction to Psychology, Sensation and Perception, Learning, Memory, Thinking and Intelligence, Motivation and Emotions, Developmental Psychology, Personality, Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Research Methods, Psychological Testing and Basic Statistics)
