Dept. of Sociology: List of Provisionally Selected candidates for Admission to M.A. (1 Year) in Sociology, 2026-27

In continuation to departmental admission notice dated 10th Sept. 2026, it is hereby notified that following candidates have been "provisionally selected for admission to M.A. (1-Year) in Sociology, 2026-27" subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria after verification of relevant original certificates/ dossiers/ documents. Therefore, the provisionally selected candidates who are willing to confirm their admission on the spot are notified to come in person with necessary documents to the office of the undersigned on or before 21 September, 2026 (during office hours) for verification and admission. Provisional selection of candidates who do not come for verification, verified candidates who fail to pay admission fees on time, or who fail in the verification process shall be cancelled and the emerging vacancies, if any, shall be notified later in order of merit.

The last date of admission on or before 21st September, 2026.

LIST OF PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION TO M.A. (1-Year) SOCIOLOGY, 2026-27:

• The admission portal for fee payment (online) for all the provisionally selected candidates who have verified their documents will be open from the day of verification onwards and the last date of admission is on or before 21st September, 2026.
• Admitted students can immediately join the ongoing regular classes.
• Selection list from the waiting candidates (in order of merit) will be out only when there is/are vacant seat(s) that may arise after the last date of admission.
