In continuation of this office Admission Notice No. 649 dated the 1st July, 2026, the last date for submission of online applications for provisional admission to the Pre-Ph.D. Programme for the following departments for the academic session 2026-27 (Phase-I) has been extended upto 17^th August, 2026.

Eligibility: As per the provisions laid down under Clause 3 of the Manipur University Ph.D. Regulation, 2023 at https://www.manipuruniv.ac.in/upload/muPhD2023.pdf

How to apply: Online applications shall be submitted at https://manipurunivadm.samarth.edu.in/2026 .

General Instructions:

An application fee of Rs. 500/- for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs. 300/- for ST/SC/PwD candidates shall be paid online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI only.
Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS candidates shall be made as per the reservation norms of the Government of India.
Only those candidates who successfully complete the Pre-Ph.D. Course Work with a minimum of 'B' Grade on the 7-point grading scale shall be eligible for registration to the Ph.D. Programme.

Selection Criteria: As per the provisions of the Manipur University Ph.D. Regulation, 2023, and its subsequent amendments.

Note: The University Fellowship will be awarded only to students enrolled with the University under the supervision of the University teachers vide UGC letter No. 17-11/2009(CU) dated 30th April, 2010.
