Provisionally selected candidates for Admission to M.A. (2 Year) in Sociology (SEM-I), 2026-27

It is hereby notified that following candidates have been "provisionally selected for admission to M.A. (2-Year) in Sociology (Sem-I) 2026-27" subject to verification of documents and fulfilment of certain conditions. Admission of the following provisionally selected candidates shall be subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria after verification of relevant original certificates/ dossiers/documents. Admission of the following provisionally selected candidates who are found to be not eligible or who fail to produce complete documents for confirmation shall be cancelled. Therefore, the provisionally selected candidates who are willing to confirm their admission on the spot are notified to come in person with necessary documents to the office of the undersigned on 12th August, 2026 (during office hours) for verification. However, those provisionally selected candidates who have due documents should confirm their admission by showing necessary original documents to the office of the undersigned on the day of verification but they may pay their fees for provisional admission during the stipulated period as per the terms of agreements to be signed on the day of verification.

Note:

Selected candidates will report in person to the office of the undersigned with all original certificates/documents for verification of documents on or before 12^th August, 2026 to get the seat provisionally confirmed, failing which the seat will be declared vacant.
The candidates who have submitted/verified all required documents, certificates/dossiers can pay their fees through online mode. The last date of Admission fee payment is 18^th August, 2026.
Regular classes for M.A. 1st Semester (Session 2026–27) will commence from 20^th August, 2026.
Selection list from the waiting candidates will be out only when there is/are vacant seat(s) that may arise after the last date of admission or relevant circular/notification or order from the competent authority of the University, and the same will be notified in due course of time.
