M.Lib.I.Sc Admission 2026-27 Application Reopened

As approved by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Dibrugarh University, it is notified for all concerned that the Online Application portal for Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) Programme, Dibrugarh University for the Academic Session 2026-2027 has been re-opened up to 24.07.2026 (till 11:55 p.m.).

The date of Entrance Exam for M.Lib.I.Sc.	03/08/2026 (Monday) Time: 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.
List of qualified candidates in the entrance	05/08/2026 (Wednesday)
Date of Admission (for Merit & Waiting list)	06/08/2026 (Thursday) Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (to report within the specified time)
Date of Admission (Endowment Seat)	07/08/2026 (Friday) Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (To report within the specified time)
M.Lib.I.Sc. 1st semester classes will be commenced from	10.08.2026 (Monday) Time: 9:30 a.m. onwards

Venue of Examination: Centre for Library and Information Science Studies (CLISS) Lakshminath Bezbaroa Library Premise. Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh.

Entrance Test Details:

1. There will be negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
2. The Entrance Test would be held for two (2) hrs. (Without any Break).
3. Candidates must reach the venue at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
4. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes of the commencement of the exam.
5. Mobile Phones, Smart Watch, Calculators or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
6. Candidates will be allowed to take only their admit card, a photo ID proof in original and blue/black pen, water bottles inside the exam hall.

The other terms and conditions notified vide Memo No. DU/DR-A/Admission- M.Lib.I.Sc./2026/336 dated 06.05.2026 shall remain same.
